A couple of highlights from these past couple of weeks
-Had a great time up in La Crosse visiting our friends from that area and La Crescent Evangelical Free Church. That church is supporting us, as well as some individuals from that area. The people from that church have been such a blessing to us over the years! Praise God for their continued support!
-We did a potluck at Walnut Hill Bible Church (our home church) and shared about what God is calling us to. It was great to see a good turnout for that, and to continue to strengthen the bond between us and that church!
-My (Kelly) parents threw us a baby shower down in Illinois this past weekend, which was great! Lot's of family and friends came to see baby Jemimah. It was a great time to connect with people, share about our plans, and also be prayed over as we prepare to head down to Texas. I also got a chance to take Mike out for his birthday dinner the night before the shower, which was fun. Brent and I also got to do some work together trimming a gigantic hedge on Monday morning. Good times!

-While we were down in Illinois, we got the chance to connect with Village Church of Barrington, my parent's home church. The chairman of the Global Impact Team (missions committee) Max Kittle, and his wife were able to make it to the baby shower, which was great! VCB has supported me in the past while I was at the Center for Pioneer Church Planting, and they have a big heart for missions. We're hoping to connect with them in person or via Skype in the very near future. Be in prayer for that as we talk about future partnership for getting the gospel to the unreached!
-David Wilkosz and I hosted Josh's "bachelor party" this past Tuesday and Wednesday. Josh, David, and I drove down to Iowa with 4 other guys and hiked, caved, and camped. It was a great time of fellowship and encouragement as we celebrated Josh's last few days as a single man!
Be praying for us this weekend as we speak at Walnut Hill on Sunday morning. Pray that God would move in the hearts of some of the people to partner with us! Also be in prayer for our travels that begin Monday morning!
