Paddling the Resaca

Hey everybody!

I'm sorry we've been neglecting our blog! It will be hard to fill in the details of all that has happened the last month or so, but I'll give a shot at some of the highlights.

Sarah and I practicing our canoeing skills over lunch break
We had another great trip into Village E in Mexico. God blessed us with many opportunities, including VBS with the kids, witnessing opportunities with the teenagers, bible studies, and much progress in building relationships with the existing believers. Praise the Lord!

Last week was another "Exposition in Mission" class, which was great. We studied the book of Acts and saw that the church grows and multiplies through the preaching and teaching of the Word.

Sarah's brother Josh and his wife were in town this past week, which was awesome! It was great to see family and to be encouraged by people who have had great influence on our lives. We had a lot of fun with them while they were here, and it was great for them to be able to see the ministry we're working with close up!

I had the opportunity to chat with my CPCP mentor today and reflect on some of what God has done in my life over the past two years. It was great to rejoice in the work He has done in making me more humble and submissive. I know I still have so much room to grow in these areas, but nevertheless God has done a great work!

Please be praying for us as we do a lot of fundraising over the next month. Our goal by the middle of December is to have 80% of our monthly support raised, and our $1,250 remaining tuition, and be well on the way to raising finances for a PNG trip as a family. We are currently at 54% support, which has grown even since sending our October e-mail out! If you are interested in jumping on as a financial partner, here's the link to do so: Become a financial partner with the Bryant Family
