September Prayer List

Please pray with us through this list of requests and praises.

Marriage
  • That we would have patience with each other during the stressful times
  • Our marriage to grow and thrive.
  • Praise God that we have been blessed with babysitters while here at POC so that we can spend time together.
  • Pray that God would help us to make our marriage a priority.
  • Good communication.
  • Love, care & respect for each other.
Family
  • Praise that Sawyer is sleeping much better!
  • Wisdom and patience as we strive to be godly parents to Jemimah and Sawyer.
  • That we would be diligent about spending time with the kids.
  • That our family would thrive here in this life and ministry that God has called us to.
  • Praise God for the good health that our family has experienced since being here in PNG.
  • That God would continue to bless us with good health.
Transitions to life in PNG
  • That God would continue to give us and our families renewed vision and excitement for this ministry, even as we realize more and more the sacrifices that we will be making. Jesus is worth it!
  • More opportunities to learn language and culture.
  • Ideas for a more concentrated language-learning program once we get back up to Goroka.
Pacific Orientation Course
  • The POC students as they are preparing to head out for their month of village living on Wednesday, September 14th.
  • That the students would grow leaps and bounds in their understanding of language and culture during their time in the villages.
  • That the POC staff (us included!) would be able to have good times of rest and refreshment during the time that the students are in the village.
Team PNG
  • Unity as we begin to work as a team with Ben & Rachel Bular.
  • That we would be bound together in love.
  • That our transition to Goroka would go smoothly.
  • Wisdom, patience & guidance as we prepare to continue the setup of a base of operations in Goroka.
  • Renewed joy as we get to take part in reaching the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ

Thank you for partnering with us in prayer!
