Motherhood

Jemimah is almost 2! It's so fun to watch her grow and learn. She talks a lot now and is starting to pretend. She will find a bag and her toy keys and tell me she's going swimming or shopping. Sometimes she tells me her stuffed animals need a diaper change. Playing outside is her favorite thing to do. She loves dirt more than any toddler I've known. She rolls in it, puts it in her pockets or rubs it on her face. At least she doesn't eat it anymore!

Not everything about her being almost 2 is fun though. She has been whining and throwing fits a lot more lately. Even bedtime, which she used to like, has been a battle lately.

Jem's baby brother or sister is also growing and taking up more and more space inside of me! As I become more uncomfortable I get more excited for a newborn baby! It will be different this time with having to divide my time and attention between this new baby and Jemimah though. 

These last several weeks have not been easy with Jemimah's fits and whining and being exhausted from pregnancy. But when I step back and look at my life I realize how blessed I am. God has given me the job of raising precious little people that I pray will grow to love Him with all their hearts!
